The Corporation is a listed enterprise eligible for complete foreign-aid projects bidding by the Ministry of Commerce of China, with the qualification for foreign economic cooperation of P.R. China. The Corporation is capable of undertaking overseas projects and domestic international bidding projects. Since its establishment, based on foreign-aid projects and excellent quality service and efficiency, the Corporation has vigorously expanded overseas engineering projects market and service has covered many countries and regions all over the world.

International project contracting has become one of the core businesses of CCOEC in recent years, as the Corporation is transforming itself into a specialized international engineering contractor and professional project management service provider. Based on excellent quality service and efficiency, the Corporation has vigorously expanded overseas engineering project market and has accomplished splendid work especially in electric energy projects. As general contractor, the Corporation has successively developed Minks No.2 Thermal Power Plant Rehabilitation Project and Minsk No.5 Thermal Power Plant Rehabilitation Project in Belarus as well as nine small-size hydropower projects in Turkey. Among the above projects, Minks No.2 is the first project for China-Belarus cooperation on energy, and Minsk No.5 is the largest ever project in the bilateral cooperation and has attracted great attention from leaders of both countries. Taking an active role in exploring the small-size hydropower plant market in Turkey, the Corporation won against its European competitors, and has successfully developed eight hydro power plant projects for ARSAN and ARPA power plant project for MCK.

 

CCOEC is at present carrying out in-depth, sustainable development on the market of Belarus, Turkey and their bordering countries. Moreover, Africa and Latin America are becoming our new target markets.
