
Accompanied by CCOEC President Ma Zhiwu, China Exim Bank leaders including President Li Ruogu and Concessional Loan Department General Manager Li Jichen inspected Minsk 2 thermal power plant on the afternoon of Sept 17, soon after they arrived Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Deputy Engergy Minister of Belarus Mikhadiuk made an introduction on the power plant construction to President Li and his party.
President Li Ruogu was very pleased to see the success of Minsk 2 power plant funded by concessional loan from China. He told President Ma that large-scale equipments manufactured in China have strong international competitiveness now. Only with all-round service provided, can overseas project owners realize the quality of China-made equipments, which enables us to open broader overseas market.
President Ma Zhiwu vowed that CCOEC will develop Minsk 2 into a model project of energy cooperation between China and Belarus.
