On November 2, 2012, the Eighth session of China-Estonia Economic and Trade Cooperation Commission was held in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Cao Huihua, Vice President of CCOEC attended the meeting at the invitation of Ministry of Commerce
of P. R. China (MOFCOM). H.E. Qu Zhe, Chinese Ambassador to Estonia also attended the meeting. A keynote address was made by Xu Xiaofeng, Deputy Director of
the European Department of MOFCOM. In his speech, he made special mention of the project of Purchase of 16 new shunting locomotives implemented by CCOEC, which is regarded as the milestone significance in the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Chinese government has attached great importance to the project.
On November 3, 2012, accompanied by Vice President Cao Huihua, delegates from both countries were invited to visit the first locomotive manufactured in China.
