On March 17, 2013, a joint project team composed of CCOEC and a solar energy company paid a visit to the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt and met with visiting Major General Tarras, Egyptian Air Defence Commander, and Defence Attaché, Major General Hamdy Badien. The two sides held friendly talks over cooperation on the solar energy project.
