On Feb 15, CCOEC President Ma Zhiwu presided over a special meeting on exploring the Ukrainian market. The leading group of CCOEC, the Ukraine working team, as well as the principals of relevant business and functional departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Ukraine working team delivered a report on relevant policies, market developing plans and information on the projects they have been following. It is pointed out that Ukraine is one of the markets we are focusing on, and it has been included in the strategic developing plan of our company in the coming three to five years. At present, the feed back from Ukrainian government and Chinese embassy in Ukraine, as well as the projects we followed, show that it is a correct determination by our company to set Ukraine as a key market. Therefore, a comprehensive deployment on that market is required. The company leaders, all relating departments should make concerted effort in working out the scheme on developing the Ukrainian market and put it into practice with no delay. By the end of February, CCOEC will send a delegation, headed by president Ma Zhiwu, to visit Ukraine for in-depth talks on specific projects.
