Between February 22 -26, President Ma Zhiwu went to Moldova on a business trip, in the purpose of promoting and implementing the projects of cooperation between the two sides, seeking opportunities for cooperation as well as discussing collaborative model for projects in Moldova.
During his visit, Mr. Ma first called on Chinese Commercial Counsellor to Moldova Yu Tongkai, and then conducted in-depth discussions with senior government officials of Moldova including its Foreign Minister, Vice Minister of Economy, Minister of Agriculture and relevant enterprises. The trip enables us to have a comprehensive understanding on the economic environment, relevant policies, laws and regulations as well as the scope of investment, which is of great significance to the promotion of cooperation between the two sides.
This business trip, which was tight in schedule, rich in content and strong in gains, has strengthened our ties with the Moldovan government as well as further promoted our influence in the country.
