His Excellency Abdu Rabbih Mansour Hady, the President of the Republic of Yemen paid a state visit to China from November 12 to 15, 2013.

As one of the important achievements during President Hady’s visit and the only commercial contract signed at the witness of the President, Mr. Ma Zhiwu, President of CCOEC and Dr. Saleh Hassan Sumie, Minister of Ministry of Electricity & Energy of Yemen signed the related contract agreement of Ma’aber Gas Power Plant and Associated Substation and Transmission Line Project in Yemen and cooperation intention. Mr. Wan Jifei, Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Mr. Chang Hua, Ambassador of China to the Republic of Yemen attended the signing ceremony.
