On January 29th, 2015, co-hosted by China-AricaIndustrial Forum Committeeand China WTO Africa Affairs Committee, the 4th “Top 100 Recommendable Chinese Enterprises in Africa” was held in Beijing, China. CCOEC was awarded and ranked 43rd on the 100 enterprises list. 

This is the fourth round of selection after the first one, which was announced in July 2011. This selection, well received by all sections of people from China and Africa, effectively promotes the brand building and development of Chinese enterprises in Africa.Being recommended by African embassies to China, supported by Ministries of Commerce and Foreign Affairs, and experts in WTO and African organizations, 100 enterprises were selected from 150 candidates. All 100 enterprises awarded have made great contributions to Africa’s economic and social developments by actively providing international aid, protecting the environment and taking on corporate social responsibilities, and are hence all welcomed by African people. With the aim to deepen Sino-African cooperation, and encourage them to continue actively conducting cooperation with Africa, the awarded enterprises will gain recognition and support from local governments, Chinese embassies to Africa, and relevant financial institutions.

This award is deemed as the recognition of CCOEC’s work and capabilities in in Africa and also lays a good foundation for the corporate to conduct projects in Africa and other countries.
