
At 9 pm, June 21, 2011 (Minsk time), the 72 hour-commissioning of Mink 2 Project No.2 gas-steam combined cycle generation unit was accomplished successfully. CCOEC’s Vice President Cao Huihua, General Representative in Belarus Zhang Yuanling, together with International Engineering Department I Vice General Manager Li Chengshe witnessed this significant moment at the scene.
The No.2 generation unit of Minsk 2 project started trial operation at 9 pm, June 21 (Minsk time). After operating for 72 hours, all the technical parameters met the requirements set in the contract. The commissioning was completed successfully at 9 pm on
June 21. According to the schedule, the No.1 generation unit will start the 72 hour-commissioning on the morning the June 22 (Minsk time).
The 72 hour-commissioning is of top significance to the Mink 2 project. Its success marks a solid step forward of CCOEC in accomplishing the Minks 2 project.
