A high-ranking delegation of Minsk 5 project, headed by Belarusian MINSKERGO President Yurtayeu Aliaksandr, paid a visit to CCOEC on the morning of October 3. The two sides discussed the major issues including Minsk 2 and Minsk 5 gas power station projects.
CCOEC and the MINSKERGO delegation exchanged views on the important issues such as the Mile Stone Plan, and locked-in rate. The Belarusian side expressed their satisfaction with the report by President Ma Zhiwu on the work accomplished by CCOEC over the past year.
On October 31, the two sides held group discussions on business and technology considerations of Minsk 2 and Minsk 5 projects. Substantial progress was made after a full day’s arduous negotiations on the major issues including the Mile Stone Plan, locked-in rate, and etc.
On November 2, The Belarusian delegation visited Dong Fang Steam Turbine Works in Chengdu and Babcock-Hitachi Dongfang Boiler Co., Ltd in Jiaxing, inspecting the production of the four major engine facilities for Minsk 5. The two sides then held meeting again and signed minutes of talks.
CCOEC has attached great importance to the meeting and was fully prepared before the arrival of the delegation, laying a good foundation to the success of the talks. This will enhance the construction of Minsk 2 and Minsk 5 gas power stations.
